My name is Nicole, I’m located on the border of Iowa and Illinois in an area called the Quad Cities, and this is a blog of my cake making adventures! I’ve always enjoyed baking and making cakes, but I was inspired by the show “Ace of Cakes” to ask for my own cake decorating supplies for Christmas of 2008. I’ve been baking like crazy every since!
I love to make cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other goodies to share with family and friends, and sometimes family and friends of family and friends! I’m not actually doing this as a business, just a hobby. I do take orders from time to time to help support my baking habit (and to keep me below 500lbs), so I’ve added some information to this website to answer the questions I’m most frequently asked. Please note that since this really is just a hobby, I don’t deliver cakes outside of the Quad Cities, Iowa/Illinois area.
